Overview: This joint ESTRO-ASTRO-APCCC session will explore the future of prostate cancer care through the integration of advanced imaging, precision radiotherapy, and systemic therapies. Internationally recognized specialists including Silke Gillessen, Alison Tree, Piet Ost, Tyler Seibert, Vedang Murthy, Neha Vapiwala and Barbara Jereczek-Fossa will discuss treatment intensification, fractionation, metastatic disease, imaging innovation, and global perspectives. Together, ESTRO, ASTRO and APCCC are helping define the next horizons of multidisciplinary prostate cancer care.

Overview: This joint ESTRO-AAPM session will highlight emerging strategies for real-time intra-fraction adaptation and their potential to improve precision in radiation therapy delivery. Drawing on lessons from tracking-enabled platforms such as Vero, the session will explore how motion management has evolved from marker-based to marker-free approaches across moving targets including lung, liver, and pancreas. It will then address key enabling technologies, including real-time segmentation and quality assurance of auto-generated structures, as well as clinically available and emerging real-time tracking solutions, spanning geometry-guided and dose-guided approaches, advanced techniques to account for deformation, AI-based methods and quality assurance consideration. Finally, the session will discuss real-time dose reconstruction, covering adaptive dose calculation, dose accumulation across fractions, and the QA and validation challenges that must be addressed for safe clinical implementation.

Overview: The symposium “The role of clinical audits in driving performance in radiotherapy” will showcase how audits can significantly improve quality, safety, and consistency across radiotherapy. It will highlight how national programmes, benchmarking, and transparent reporting reduce variation and strengthen clinical governance. Key insights include tackling contouring variability, leveraging data and AI, and ensuring treatment accuracy through independent dosimetry audits. Attendees will gain insights into real-world national experiences, scalable tools, and strategies for continuous improvement and shared learning. Overview: The session provides a comprehensive overview of how vendor‑-provided technologies in radiotherapy can be safely introduced and maintained in clinical practice. It discusses key challenges and opportunities related to linear accelerators, treatment planning systems, patient‑-specific QA measurement solutions and AI‑-based tools. Attention is given to vendor‑-provided commissioning and pre‑-configured systems, the role of long‑-term QA data, and the need for independent and risk‑-based validation. By highlighting continuous quality improvement, sensitivity to clinical complexity and lifecycle management, the session illustrates practical approaches to safeguarding patient safety in increasingly automated radiotherapy workflows.
