Dr. Ye Zhang received her PhD degree from ETH Zurich. She subsequently worked as a research scientist in Varian Medical Systems and a postdoc in the Center of Proton Therapy in Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI-CPT). She gained the tenured scientist position in PSI at 2023. Her main research interests lie in the development of 4D treatments for scanned proton therapy (4D planning/optimization, image guidance, motion modelling). Recently, she has been exploring the applications of artificial intelligence, upright treatment and online MR guidance for proton therapy.
