This full-time post involves working with two advanced MRI systems: the Siemens Avanto Fit 1.5T and the United Imaging uMR 670 1.5T, supporting a wide range of clinical applications in a modern and forward-thinking hospital setting.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced MRI Clinical Scientist to join our expanding radiology team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring high imaging quality, patient safety, and continual improvement across our MRI service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide scientific support and clinical expertise across MRI services
- Develop and optimize MRI imaging protocols
- Perform quality assurance and routine system evaluations
- Ensure compliance with international MRI safety standards and national regulations
- Support education and training of radiographers and clinicians
- Contribute to research and innovation in collaboration with academic partners
Candidate Requirements:
- MSc in Medical Physics or a related field
- Registration or eligibility for registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., HCPC or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience with clinical MRI systems
- Familiarity with Siemens and/or United Imaging platforms is highly desirable
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Greek is a plus but not essential
