Overview: Overview: This session will focus on the role of RTTs in innovations in RT practice with specific focus on SGRT, SBRT and Proton Beam Therapy (PBT). The speakers will update us on new and innovative ways to maximise the potential of these three techniques in the clinic. Highlights include the importance of knowledge transfer and successful collaboration with non RT specialists in SBRT of benign cardiac conditions such as ventricular tachycardia; investigating the potential benefits and limitations of PBT in lymphoma patients and its impact on clinical practice; and now that SGRT has been implemented into routine clinical practice is there potential to increase its use and has there been a negative impact on RTT skills in patient positioning?
