I graduated in June 2011 with a Bachelor of Science from InHolland University of applied sciences in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I worked as radiation therapist at Antoni van Leeuwenhoek (NKI-AVL, Netherlands Cancer institute) from 2011 until early 2015. In June 2015 I started as a radiation therapist at the University Hospital in Zurich. After being the education liaison for Radiation therapists in training, I became the Chief Radiation Therapist at the department for radiation oncology in June 2019. My expertise in the field is in stereotactic treatments, specifically abdominal expiration breathhold education and positioning and immobilization. I am a member of the young ESTRO committee, young observer in the RTT committee, Teacher in the position and immobilisation course.
