It is with great excitement that we introduce the inaugural edition of iARTIST – International Advanced Radiotherapy Techniques Symposium, to be held in the vibrant city of Istanbul, June 11–13, 2026. Radiotherapy stands at a rare and remarkable intersection—where the rigor of classical clinical medicine meets the frontier of cutting edge technology, and science transforms into art. In today’s rapidly evolving landscape, keeping pace with innovation is no longer enough. The true leaders in modern radiotherapy are those who not only adopt technological advancements, but also apply them with sound clinical judgment, experience, and innovative problem-solving. This is precisely the vision behind iARTIST. This symposium aims to celebrate not only the scientific and technological frontiers of radiotherapy, but also the transformative impact of these advances have had on patient care. Each year will follow an artistic theme and our first symposium’s theme, “Improvising with Precision: Jazz & the Art of Radiotherapy,” reflects a unique intersection between the rhythm of innovation and the precision in medicine. This meeting will feature: A comprehensive scientific program including stereotactic radiotherapy, motion management, adaptive workflows, and brachytherapy.
