In 2025, the Italian Association of Radiation Therapy and Medical Physics Technologists (AITRO) delivered Reproducibility Hub, a four-part interactive webinar series (one episode per month, SeptemberDecember 2025) dedicated to strengthening reproducibility in radiation therapy practice. Designed for Radiation Therapists (RTTs) audience, the initiative promoted a shared, team-based understanding of inter- and intra-fraction reproducibility.

A distinctive element was the dual-speaker model: each webinar was co-led by an RTT and a Radiation Oncologist from the same department, enabling structured dialogue between technical workflows and clinical decision-making, and reinforcing reproducibility as a collective responsibility within the radiotherapy team.

The series addressed four anatomical sites - Head & Neck (September), Thorax (October), Abdomen (November), and Pelvis (December) - and integrated clinical reasoning with practical workflow components. Discussions highlighted how inter-fraction consistency is supported by robust immobilisation and setup protocols, while intra-fraction reproducibility depends on the appropriate use of IGRT and motion-management solutions. Clear documentation, shared decision-making, and well-defined professional roles were identified as key enablers of treatment accuracy and patient safety.

The initiative attracted RTTs from radiotherapy departments across Italy, fostering inter-institutional exchange and strengthening the national community of practice. Participants valued the interactive format and the opportunity to compare approaches within a multiprofessional setting. Dissemination was targeted to all AITRO members, and presentation materials were made available via the AITRO private website area, supporting post-session review and local discussion.

Reproducibility Hub reinforced AITRO’s commitment to reproducibility, standardisation, and multiprofessional collaboration. AITRO plans to continue developing educational initiatives and looks forward to sharing future activities with ESTRO and the wider international community.
