The long-awaited XXth International Conference on the use of Computers in Radiation therapy (ICCR) will be held from July 8 to July 11, 2024, in Lyon, France, as an in-person meeting.

ICCR is one of the longest-running conferences in radiation therapy. Held only every three years, it attracts medical physicists, clinicians, and academic scientists from across the globe who use computers to drive advances in radiation therapy. Many important innovations have been unveiled at previous conferences and the ICCR enjoys very high standing in the international radiation oncology community.

The XXth ICCR has been substantially delayed due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. As a pivotal milestone in ICCR's history, this conference presents an unparalleled opportunity for attendees to reconnect with colleagues, delve into the latest technological advancements, and share experiences and insights that have accumulated since the XIXth ICCR.

Covering a diverse range of topics, the conference agenda includes, but is not limited to, treatment planning, imaging, dose delivery, predictive modelling, radiomics, Monte-Carlo applications, quality assurance, and artificial intelligence. This comprehensive overview will ensure that attendees gain insights into the state-of-the-art use of computers in radiation therapy.

The deadline for paper submission is January 31, 2024. Instructions for the preparation of two to four page short papers are available on the ICCR 2024 website: iccr2024.org. The submission portal is set to open in November. The proceedings of the conference will be published in an open archive and therefore will contribute to the dissemination of knowledge in the field.
