In October 2025, ESTRO launched an open call for expressions of interest and availability for the role of ESTRO President, reinforcing our commitment to transparent and inclusive leadership selection. 

ESTRO full members were invited to express their interest in this prestigious leadership position. 

The call has now closed. The official presidential candidates will be announced in February 2026. ESTRO full members in good standing for two consecutive years will vote in the election before the General Assembly at the ESTRO 2026 congress. 

This open call was part of ESTRO's ongoing efforts to ensure diversity of perspectives and expertise in leadership roles, strengthening community engagement and advancing our vision: ‘Radiation Oncology. Optimal Health for All, Together.’
