Overview: High precision radiation treatment, allowing for high doses to the tumor and máximum sparing of normal tissues is now approached by different technical options. MRI-Linacs are a breakingthrough technology now available. This sesión will outline the advantages and challenges in MR guided treatment planning as well as the MR for treatment assessment. Radiation adaptation is a major advantage of this technology. Treatment of moving targets, dose scalation strategies, functional imaging adaptation and clinical implications for frequent tumor locations will be addressed in this symposium.
