Biography

Mikki Campbell currently serves as the Manager of Strategic Initiatives at the University of Toronto (UT) affiliated Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre. Her portfolio encompasses the research, implementation and evaluation of novel radiation medicine technologies and the development, delivery, and evaluation of interprofessional education within the Cancer Ablation Therapy program. After training at the UT in Medical Radiation Sciences, she completed a Masters in Health Evaluation at the University of Waterloo. Mikki also holds a status appointment as Lecturer in the Department of Radiation Oncology, UT (UTDRO) and is the Program Director of the MR-integrated Radiation Therapy Training Program currently under development at UTDRO. Her clinical research focuses on the evaluation of high precision stereotactic radiation (SRS/SBRT) to brain and spine tumours and the integration of MRI in radiation therapy. She has direct experience as an evaluation and strategic planning consultant. Mikki has co-led the development of the next Odette Cancer Centre strategic plan, along with other large healthcare organizations and leverages novel evaluative methodologies to measure the impact of health programs and inform best practices. Mikki is dedicated to the advancement of radiation therapy through the integration of novel technologies for precision treatments and personalized medicine and is committed to creating a better care experience for patients, families, and caregivers.
