Victor Gonzalez-Perez is a medical physicist currently working at the Fundación Instituto Valenciano de Oncología (Valencia, Spain) after his training period at the Hospital La Fe in Valencia. He developed his PhD thesis at the Polytechnic University of Valencia on dual-energy CT in the diagnosis of lung cancer. Currently, his fields of interest and research are mainly focused on clinical dosimetry in external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy. Regarding his collaboration with scientific societies, he participates in the H&N and skin working group of the GEC-ESTRO and has been a board member of the Spanish Society of Medical Physics (SEFM). As a docent, he has organised courses for the SEFM and has been part of the faculty in courses of the ESTRO, SEFM, Spanish Society of Radiation Oncology (SEOR) and Latin American Physics Association (ALFIM).
