Since 2003 she has been working in Radiotherapy Department Maria Sklodowska – Curie National Research Institute of Oncology Gliwice branch and now holding position of Senior Assistant. In order to develop her skills in the field of radiotherapy, she completed a one-year foreign internship in Radiation Oncology Department, University of Turin, Italy, broadened her knowledge of prostate cancer and Hodgkin's lymphoma. Besides her specialty in radiation oncology she received PhD on gastric cancer radiotherapy. She continues her research on gastrointestinal cancers with particular attention to pancreatic cancer treated by stereotactic radiotherapy. Her interest in SBRT has translated into the research on hypofractionated prostate cancer treatment. She has participated in a number of national and international conferences and is a member of numerous scientific societies.
