I received PhD in Radiation Biology and Experimental Radiotherapy from TU Dresden, Germany in 2007. I continued my research as post doc in the Laboratory of Experimental Radiotherapy, Medical Faculty, TU Dresden focusing on molecular imaging and prognostic/predictive biomarkers. In 2012, I joined department of Radiotherapy, Maastricht University, the Netherlands. Currently I am a senior post doc in the department of Precision Medicine, Maastricht University. My main research interests are non-uniform tumor irradiation, hypoxia-activated prodrugs and immune-oncology.
