I live in Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden. I took my MSc degree in radiation physics at the University of Gothenburg and my PhD in radiation physics at the same university. My thesis was focused on early issues of IMRT which at the time was being implemented in Gothenburg at the Sahlgrenska University Hospital. After my PhD graduation in 2003 I began working as Medical Physicist at the department of Therapeutic Radiation Physics at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. In 2011 I was promoted to the position First Medical Physicist and in 2016 I was assigned as the Research Coordinator at the department. I have a solid interest in radiotherapy research. My field of research is mainly focused on different issues regarding dosimetry of modulated radiotherapy treatments such as for example treatment complexity, robustness, interplay effects and dose calculations. I lead a research group within this field. The research group is connected to both the Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg and to the Sahlgrenska University Hospital. I am also involved in proton radiotherapy treatments at the Skandion Clinic which is a part of all seven university hospitals in Sweden including the Sahlgrenska University Hospital.
