Dr. med. Tobias Hölscher is a consultant in radiation oncology at Universitätsklinikum Carl Gustav Carus in Dresden, Germany. Born in 1971, Tobias was at school in Munich, Germany, and did his medical exams in Budapest, Hungary and Erlangen, Germany. From 1999 he was trained in radiation oncology at Technical University Dresden, Germany, where he became board certified in 2005. Currently, Tobias is focusing on radiotherapy of GU tumors, on oligometastatic prostate cancer and on proton therapy. He is principle investigator of six clinical trials. He is member of ESTRO, DEGRO, DKG, ARO, peer reviewer for „Radiotherapy & Oncology“, „Prostate Cancer“, „Urologia Internationalis“, „BMC Cancer“ and „Radiation Oncology“ and coauthor of the “S3-Leitlinie Prostatakarzinom” (German national guideline).
