I am a Professor of Radiation Oncology at the premier Medical Institute of India, AIIMS, New Delhi. My areas of interest are Gynecologic Oncology, Breast cancer and Sarcomas. I have special interest in brachytherapy and developed several brachytherapy techniques like Trans-rectal USG guided Interstitial brachytherapy in gynaecological malignancies, Doppler guided brachytherapy etc. at my center. I have published about 190 research papers in various national and international journals. I have received numerous awards like AIIMS Excellence Research Award, Indian Council of Medical Research Award and Indian College of Radiation Oncology Fellowship Award. I am invited faculty to American Brachytherapy Society and ESTRO. I am visiting professor at Loyola University, Chicago, USA, and Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA.
