Martijn Intven graduated in 2009 as Doctor in Medicine (MD) at the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven) in Belgium. In 2015 he obtained a PhD for his research on functional MR imaging for response prediction in rectal cancer treatment. In 2016 he completed his training and qualification in Radiation Oncology. Currently he is a professor of image-guided radiotherapy in the UMC Utrecht / Utrecht University, the Netherlands.
