Dr Joanna Kazmierska is Radiation Oncologist involved in multidisciplinary treatment of head and neck cancer. Her research is focused on prognostic and predictive factors for both tumour response and treatment toxicity, including PROMs. Main topics of interest include also application of AI methods such as radiomics in radiotherapy as well as optimizing clinical data collection for research purposes. She is an advocate of multidisciplinary cooperation, constant improvement in communication with patients and shared decision making in oncology. Dr Kazmierska is head of Radiotherapy Department II in Greater Poland Cancer Center in Poznan, Poland and active ESTRO member.
