In April 2022 I was appointed as professor and chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Charite Berlin. At the University of Dresden I did my training, MD and habilitation. Between 2012 and 2022 I worked as professor and chair of Radiation Oncology at the University Hospital Tübingen. I would call myself a transalational clinician scientist with interest in biology-driven response-adaptive radiotherapy using functional imaging for individualized dose prescritption (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/?term=zips+d&sort=date). Within in ESTRO I served in various functions- currently as Co-Editor-in-Chief of Clinical and Transaltional Radiation Oncology (https://www.ctro.science/).
