Chris is a clinical oncologist specialising in prostate cancer at the Royal Marsden. Alongside his clinical practice, he has led clinical trials testing the use of active surveillance for localised disease, post-operative radiotherapy for locally advanced disease and radium-223 for bone metastases. He is a former Chair of the National Cancer Research Institute Prostate Cancer Clinical Studies Group. He has published over 250 articles on prostate cancer.
