Yat is a registered Therapeutic Radiographer in the United Kingdom (UK) since 2002. He completed his MSc in healthcare informatics in 2006 and received his PhD by published work in 2018. He is currently employed as the Director of Radiation Therapy within the Radiation Medicine Program at the Princess Margaret Cancer Center under University Health Network in Canada. Yat is involved in European society for radiotherapy and oncology Radiation TherapisT (ESTRO RTT) Committee to lead and organise international radiotherapy specific projects.
