Anita O’Donovan joined the Discipline of Radiation Therapy at Trinity College Dublin (TCD) in 2011, as Assistant Professor, having previously worked in both clinical and research positions as a Radiation Therapist in Saint Luke’s Hospital, Dublin and Cork University Hospital. She has recently been awarded her PhD on “The Development, Implementation and Evaluation of Frailty Assessment in Oncology” from Trinity College Dublin. Anita is a member of the Science and Education committee of the International Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG) and an editorial board member for the Journal of Geriatric Oncology. She is also a member of faculty of the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) course on the Multidisciplinary Management of Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer, and the organising committee of the Irish Geriatric Oncology annual meeting.
