Riccardo Dal Bello approached medical physics in 2014 working at the SYRMEP beam-line of the Elettra synchrotron in Trieste, Italy. He then moved to Heidelberg, Germany, where he worked with proton and ion-beam therapy at the HIT and DKFZ from 2015 to 2019. Since 2020 he is based in Zurich, Switzerland where he is currently working at the USZ as clinical medical physicist and postdoc. His research topics involve the integration of AI into RT (e.g. synthetic CT, auto planning) and electron FLASH radiotherapy.
