Frédéric DUCLOS graduated in 1981 in Paris (Salpêtrière Hospital), he first started working at Hôtel-Dieu Hospital as a radiographer in diagnostic department. He continued working as a diagnostic radiographer in Switzerland until 1990. He then moved to the Radiation Oncology Department of the University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV), as a Radiation Therapist (RTT). He is now Deputy Chief of the RTT Team, in charge of the Treatment Units. He is involved in topics like treatment safety, quality assurance, incident reporting, implementation of new techniques. He is active in the field of research, in his department, but also in EORTC, where he was secretary and then chaired the RTTs section of the Radiation Oncology Group. Presently, he is implicated in very innovative projects of his department, such as Percussion Assisted RadioTherapy (PART), Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) in Ventricular Tachycardia and Flash Radiotherapy.
