Helen is the lead clinical academic radiographer at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and Reader at The Institute of Cancer Research. She was awarded a HEE/NIHR Senior Clinical Lectureship in 2019 in the subject area of making ‘real time adaptive radiotherapy’ possible. Her main area of research is the translation of novel radiotherapy technologies into clinical practice, involving the efficacy and efficiency of intensity modulated radiotherapy and Image guided radiotherapy (IGRT). She is recently co-chairing the expert group to update the UK guidance in Image Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT). She is a member of the teaching faculty of the ESTRO MRgRT course and is a Fellow of the British Institute of Radiology.
