Biography

I am the head of the department of Radiation Oncology in Tenon Hospital, Assistance Publique Hôpitaux de Paris, France. I’m a full professor of Radiation Oncology at Paris Sorbonne University. I am a radiation oncologist specialized in cancers of the gastrointestinal tract and head and neck. My goal is to introduce the most cutting-edge technology in radiation oncology to the treatment of GI and HN malignancies, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy, image-guided radiation therapy, and stereotactic body radiotherapy, with the intent of reducing toxicity and improving our results from radiation therapy. In addition to my interest in technical advances in radiation oncology, I am also involved in the development of therapeutic protocols combining radiation, chemotherapy, targeted agents, and immunotherapy for gastrointestinal and head and neck cancers. I am also interested in quality of life and late effects after radiation therapy. I am an expert in radiation therapy quality assurance.
