Professor Catharine West is Professor of Radiation Biology at the University of Manchester. Her research focuses on the development of biomarkers for predicting cancer radiotherapy outcomes. She was awarded the Wiess medal in 2016, the Bacq and Alexander Award in 2017 and became an honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2018.
