Biography

Perry W. Grigsby, M.D. is Professor of Radiation Oncology and Professor of Radiology, Divisions of Nuclear Medicine and Radiological Sciences at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology. He is also Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Gynecologic Oncology at Washington University School of Medicine. He began his career in Radiation Oncology with a Master’s Degree in Medical Physics. He then completed medical school at the University of Kentucky. He began his medical training in Radiation Oncology in 1982 at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his training in Radiation Oncology in 1986 and was appointed Chief of the Radiation Oncology Gynecologic Oncology Service. His interest is Gynecologic Oncology specializing in cervical cancer and functional and metabolic imaging as it relates to tumor identification, radiation treatment planning, and response to therapy.
