Biography

Dr Henry Mandeville is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at The Royal Marsden and Honorary Reader at the Institute of Cancer Research. His research includes technical radiotherapy improvements for tumours in children and young people: motion management, MR-guided radiotherapy, proton therapy; and the quality of life of survivors. He has disease specific interests in paediatric and adolescent sarcoma, brain tumours, and neuroblastoma. Dr Mandeville was appointed to the European Paediatric Soft Tissue Sarcoma Study Group (EpSSG) Board in December 2018 and was EpSSG Radiotherapy Committee Chair from 2014 to 2020. He is the Local Therapy lead for the new EpSSG Frontline and Relapsed Rhabdomyosarcoma (FaR-RMS) study, the SIOPe QUARTET project Chair, the joint radiotherapy lead for the international INSTRuCT sarcoma collaboration, NCRI Sarcoma group member and the Young Onset Soft Tissue Sarcoma Subgroup Chair. Previous national positions include NCRI Children’s Group member, and the CCLG Radiotherapy Working Group Chair.
