Steven Petit is a medical physicist and associate professor at Erasmus MC Cancer Institute in Rotterdam. He was trained at the University of Technology Eindhoven, Philips Medical Systems Paris, Maastricht University, Johns Hopkins University, Erasmus MC, Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. His research focuses on medical imaging for treatment personalization and radiation therapy automation. He is chair of the yESTRO committee and member of varies national and international committees (Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO), Netherlands Commission on Radiation Dosimetry (NCS). He received research grants from among others the Dutch Cancer Society and EIT Health (EU) and industry.
