Eliana Vásquez Osorio is a senior research fellow working in the group of radiotherapy physics lead by Prof. van Herk at the University of Manchester and based at the Christie hospital. Her interests include image registration, computational geometry, artificial intelligence, image-based data mining and handling uncertainties in treatment planning. Eliana studied computer sciences at EAFIT University, Medellín, Colombia, and has been doing research since 1998. She started working in the field of radiotherapy in 2004, when she started her PhD research at Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
