Morten Høyer, PhD is a medical director of the Danish Center for Particle Therapy at Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark that recently started clinical operation. Morten Høyer has a background in radiobiology before moving to clinical oncology. He is a professor in clinical oncology with experience in neuro- and urooncology as well as stereotactic body radiation therapy of lung, liver and prostate. At present, he is involved in the establishment of proton therapy in Denmark. Morten Høyer is member of the ESTRO Clinical Committee and the Advisory Committee of Radiation Oncology Practive (ACROP) and member of the ESTRO European Particle Therapy Network.
