For the first three months after her residency qualification she had also the chance to attend as clinical observer the “Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori” in Milan, Italy, in the Department of Pediatric Radiation Oncology focusing in particular on the pediatric brain tumors. When she obtained a research AIRC fellowship at IEO, where research becomes treatment in real time, under the mentorship of Prof. Barbara A.
