I graduated as a Master in Medical Physics in 2004 at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. Since 2005, I’ve been working as a certified Medical Physics Expert in the radiotherapy department of the Iridium Netwerk in Antwerp, Belgium. In those years, I have been leading a range of projects, mostly implementing new techniques improving the quality of patient treatments, including various Brachy treatments, VMAT, SBRT and gating techniques. My current focus lies in the field of transit in vivo dosimetry, its large scale implementation and investigation of its possibilities and limitations, trying to reduce errors and deviations.
