Dr. José Belderbos, Radiation Oncologist, received her Ph.D. in 2007 at the University of Amsterdam, thesis: ‘Radiotherapy in lung cancer: a moving field’. She specializes in lung cancer and individualized dose escalation in NSCLC using image-guided radiotherapy. Her research areas includes optimization of stereotactic radiotherapy, individualized radiation-dose escalation using pre-treatment FDG-PET scan information, combining targeted agents with radiotherapy, immunotherapy combinations and hippocampus avoidance prophylactic cranial irradiation. Dr. Belderbos has published over 300 peer-reviewed papers. José Belderbos was a faculty member for IASLC, ASTRO,ESTRO, ICTR , ESMO. Dr. Belderbos has received grants from the Dutch Cancer Society (KWF) and the Dutch Society for Medical Specialists.
