Biography

Rob Tijssen obtained his DPhil in Clinical Neuroscience from Oxford University, where he worked on the development of novel pulse sequences for brainstem FMRI. After his PhD he moved to UMC Utrecht, where he enrolled as a resident and later worked as a medical physicist with special focus on MRI-guided RT. His research activities focus on developing new MR methods for real-time motion management on the MR-linac. Rob currently holds a position as a medical physicist at the Catharina hospital in Eindhoven and is a lecturer at the Technical University of Eindhoven.
