Overview: Over the past decade, the advancement of radiation therapy technologies and techniques have increased precision in the delivery of radiation dose to the target. Adoption of real-time in-room imaging and motion management integrated with the advanced methods of delivering a radiation dose with modulated fields has allowed SBRT to be a routine in many departments. However, the clinical experience, the evidence for safety and efficacy remains to be properly defined. This SBRT session will explore the novel and exciting advances made in the specific areas of malignancies of the pancreas, lung, kidney and liver. We will hear of the experiences from Europe and Australia.
