Session

Overview: This session explores diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) in radiation oncology. First, challenges and strategies to improve DEI in the workforce will be presented, using inspirational examples of success stories. Next, the current global status and future needs for equitable access to cancer care will be discussed, inviting you to reflect on the considerations in moving forward. Finally, the young ESTRO project on DEI will be presented from its development to early results, to start the discussion on ideas for next steps to improve DEI within our community.
