Tumour tracking – is it worth the effort?
This symposium will cover the different aspects of tumour tracking including quality assurance, imaging, delivery and assessment. Beginning with image registration algorithms and prediction models (Prof. Baroni). Followed by patient specific quality assurance methods and phantoms, along with discussion of accuracy metrics for markerless tracking (Dr. Hazelaar). The processes involved in markerless workflows from imaging to delivery and the influence of different motion management systems (Dr Skrobala) will be discussed. Finally clinical experience with tumour tracking, both with and without markers, on the Vero gimbaled linac system will be shared (Prof. Bert).
