2021 Elections

In 2021, one seat of the Directors of the Board will be renewed, and elections will be organized for a Clinician as a representative in the Board. 

In its meeting of 4 December 2020, the Board, following the proposal from the Nominating Council and consultation of Committees, approved the names of the following candidates: 

Esther Troost (biography) – Clinician  
Fiona McDonald (biography) – Clinician 


All ESTRO full members in 2021 who have also been members in 2020 are eligible to vote in the 2021 ESTRO Board election.

Renew your membership.

A few days prior to the start of the election, all ESTRO members eligible to vote will receive a username and password to access the election platform. The voting period is from 25/02/2021 – 17/03/2021.  
The official announcement of the elected Clinical representative will take place at the General Assembly of 14/04/2021.

As per Article 5.2 of ESTRO's Internal Rules of Procedure, which themselves follow from the Society's Articles of Association:

"The Board of Directors shall consist of maximum fifteen (15) members whereby:
Next to the President, the Past-President, the President-Elect, the Treasurer and the Editor-in-Chief (advisory), and the Director of the ESTRO School (advisory):
- At least one representative of each of the following disciplines shall be represented:
a. Radiobiology
b. Brachytherapy
c. Radiation Therapy technologists - and at least two representatives of each of the following
disciplines shall be represented:
d. Medical Physicist
e. Clinician"
