• Recruited the require researchers
• Consortium agreement, PCA plan, MTAs and scientific and ethical approval are in place.
• Set up an Education and Training committee
• Developed quality assurances for the project
• Defined datasets containing statistically meaningful cohorts of over responders and non responders to radiotherapy
• Identification and recruitment of patients has been initiated and blood samples and skin biopsies from 26 patients have been forwarded to the Partners.
• Optimise and standardise dose and timescales post-irradiation for functional analysis and gene expression studies using T-cells and fibroblasts.
• Bioinformatic analyses methods with the highest discriminative power are being developed.
• Two meetings of the consortium have occurred.
• The project has been promoted though publications (scientific, newsletters and EU), WEB and at several meetings, both scientific and strategic.
