Founded in 1980, ESTRO, the European SocieTy for Radiotherapy & Oncology, is a non-profit and scientific organisation that fosters the role of Radiation Oncology in order to improve patients’ care in the multimodality treatment of cancer.
With over 6500 members in and outside Europe, ESTRO supports all the Radiation Oncology professionals in their daily practice: Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, Radiobiologists and RTTs (Radiation TherapisTs) and the wider oncology community.
ESTRO’s mission is to promote innovation, research, and dissemination of science through its congresses, special meetings, educational courses and publications.
The ESTRO newsletter is a bi-monthly digital publication that covers a wide range of topics, and highlights of interest to the radiation oncology community: latest advances, interviews with key opinion leaders, conference findings, research information, editor’s picks, etc.
Initially restricted to members, the ESTRO newsletter is now in open access. You will find below the three latest issues. Older issues can be found under ‘archive’ at the bottom of this page.
Each issue is available below in two versions: online and downloadable as a pdf. You can also read it on your tablet by downloading the ESTRO News App from the Appstore or Google Playstore.
