Guidelines for Positioning, Immobilisation and Position Verification of Head and Neck Cancer for RTTs

The RTT Committee of ESTRO was established in 1993 to address the professional issues and needs of RTTs. The ESTRO RTT Committee represents RTTs at a European level which is underpinned by having two seats representing the RTT-Alliance on the committee. The RTT Committee meets regularly through web meetings as well as face-to-face to discuss issues relevant to the work of RTTs in Europe and to find and implement means to advance the profession and raise the standard of care to our patients.

The terms of reference of the RTT Committee are to:

  • Raise the professional profile of RTTs
  • Facilitate the development of continuing education
  • Create networks with other RTTs in Europe and worldwide to exchange knowledge, views and ideas
  • Interact with other professionals and provide synergy in the multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of cancer
